I like the look of the game - style of the cards - very much. It has an auto complete function which I particularly like. It also provides hints for those that want them. Even the backdrop to the game is good to look at - waves rolling into shore. I have been playing this for a couple of years. I find it relaxing and it is the last thing I do before going to bed. As well it keeps your brain nimble.

This version of solitaire is beautiful to look at as well. In addition to the attractive graphics, moving the cards around is much easier than with the previous versions. All round pleasant experience.

Full Deck Solitaire: Its got a nice interface. Clicking here and there works well in placing cards where you want. There are a number of different games to play. You can add your own background pictures. This is all fun and good. The problem is the app has wimpy algorithms. What does this mean? You will keep getting dealt the same hands over and over again. Allow me to explain. Lets take one real deck of 52 cards. I shuffle them by hand. I lay them out and theyre in a certain specific order. I collect them and shuffle them again and then lay them out in order. They will be in a different order. And in fact, the chances are 1 in #%&*@!^./}+ - ( a number much greater than my calculator is capable of displaying) that you will get the cards in the same order again, ever! That is not true with Full Deck Solitaire - and to be fair, most of the other online card games, either free or with a price tag. They all are only capable of a very limited number of permutations: permutation noun a way, esp. one of several possible variations, in which a set or number of things can be ordered or arranged. These limitations stem from an inability to create the algorithms necessary in the app to reflect the myriad permutations that are possible in shuffling a deck of cards. In short, the app algorithms are wimpy. algorithm noun a process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or other problem-solving operations, esp. by a computer. So what this means is that you, the computer card player, will be playing the same relatively few hands over and over again ad infinitum. This shouldnt be too much of a problem since if you are playing these games that much youre probably wasting your life anyway.
